Transfer of Summer Courses

Many students prefer to take classes at a colleges located near their homes during the summer months. If you want to do this, you must meet with an advisor prior to signing up for the course. Provide your advisor with a course description for each course that you wish to transfer. The advisor will evaluate the course and complete a Transfer of Credit form to be placed in your file. Only the credits will transfer for the equivalent class, not the grades or grade point average. Credit will only be given for course work of C (2.0) or better. As a student, you are responsible to have the transcript sent to the Engineering Office of Administration, at the completion of the class.

Note: Once enrolled at the School of Engineering, students may not complete courses at any community college or technical school for transfer. Courses must be taken at a degree-granting four-year institution or branch campus of a four-year school.
