Freshman Experience

All entering freshman are considered engineering undecided. This means during your freshman year you will have the opportunity to grow, explore, and research the different fields of engineering while taking classes which will prepare you for future success in your field. In Freshman Seminar you will hear presentations from faculty members in each department within the School of Engineering to learn not only about the curriculum in each degree program but about industry related information. After attending two or three departmental open houses in the spring term you will declare you major in March of your freshman year and move on to the degree program of your choice with successful completion of the freshman curriculum.
