Students Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor SocietyThe Swanson School of Engineering Chapter of the Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society promotes communication and relationships between students and faculty, constructive input in teaching, and curriculum modification. Seventeen years ago, March 28-31, 1984, the Chapter was honored to host the 28th National Conclave of Chi Epsilon here at the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to coordinating caucuses for the 80 attending universities, the weekend's events included chapter initiations, the presentation of the 1984 Harold T. Larsen award to Mr. I.W. Santry Jr., and the Ceremony of Elevation to National Honor Member to Ralph B. Peck, foundation engineer, author consultant, and educator. |
